My wife gasped.
My friend looked at the window.

Fear appeared on his face.
My wife whispered a name.

She rushed to the door and opened it.
The woman stepped inside slowly.
Weak.
Exhausted.
Her eyes scanned the room.
Then she raised her trembling hand and pointed directly at my friend.
“He is wicked,” she said.
The room froze.
My friend rushed to the door.
But it was locked.
My wife had locked it.
He shouted angrily,
“Open this door!”
But Selena spoke again.
“Your friend is behind his wife’s death.”
My heart nearly stopped.
Then she said something even more shocking.
“He is also the reason I disappeared.”
