Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Gerard, has been evicted from the reality television show following Sunday’s live eviction show.

Gerard’s exit marks the latest eviction in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house as the competition enters a more intense phase, with the remaining housemates stepping up their battle for the coveted grand prize.

The housemate was among 15 contestants nominated for possible eviction during the sixth week of the competition. However, after the eviction process, Gerard became one of the latest housemates to bid farewell to the reality show.

His departure comes after the earlier evictions of Martins, Mercedes, Kamsy, Cassi, Sultex and Goddessa.

Another housemate, Neche, had also exited the competition voluntarily, reducing the number of contestants still in the race for the ultimate prize.

Gerard had made his presence felt during his time in the Big Brother Naija house, taking part in several challenges and activities and becoming one of the contestants to watch as the competition progressed.

He also came close to securing the prestigious Head of House position on several occasions.

During the Week Six Head of House challenge, Gerard advanced to the final round but was unable to clinch the title after he was defeated by Abi, who emerged victorious and secured the Head of House position for the week.

Despite his efforts and competitive performances, Gerard’s journey came to an end during Sunday’s live eviction show.

His eviction is expected to further intensify the competition among the remaining housemates, who are now faced with the challenge of surviving subsequent nominations and evictions while building their chances of making it to the final.

The ‘Everything Is For The Taking’ edition of Big Brother Naija premiered on July 26, 2026, with 24 housemates entering the house to compete for a grand prize of ₦160 million.

As the season progresses, the remaining contestants will have to rely on their personalities, strategies, relationships and performances in the house to win over viewers and secure their places in the competition.

With several housemates already out of the race, attention will now turn to who will survive the next round of nominations and emerge as the next major contender for the BBNaija Season 11 crown.
