Popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, has been hit with a N395 million lawsuit over allegations of verbal assault and invasion of privacy.

The legal action was initiated by a Lagos-based woman, Osarobo Odigie, following a confrontation between both parties at Folixxx Lounge along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The incident, which reportedly occurred on January 6, 2026, gained public attention after Peller shared a video of the altercation on social media. He later issued an apology, admitting to posting the video without Odigie’s consent.

However, in a fresh development, Odigie, through her lawyer Bola Osineye of FA Garrick & Co., has filed a pre-action notice detailing her grievances. According to the legal document, she accused the TikToker of subjecting her to verbal abuse during the encounter.

Her legal team is now demanding N395 million in damages, citing defamatory publication, emotional trauma, reputational damage, and the psychological impact of cyberbullying that followed the viral video.

The letter further stated that legal proceedings will commence next week if Peller fails to meet the stated demands.

The case has sparked conversations online about privacy rights, responsible content creation, and the legal risks influencers face when sharing sensitive content without consent.
