WASHINGTON, D.C. — United States President Donald Trump has released a list of 25 achievements he says his administration has recorded since he returned to the White House in January 2025, highlighting his policies on immigration, taxation, trade, security, defence, energy, education and foreign affairs.
Trump published the list on his Truth Social platform on Friday, September 18, as his administration continues to promote its record ahead of the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.
The White House has similarly been highlighting what it describes as major accomplishments of the administration, including border enforcement, tax cuts, increased investment, military operations and energy production.
Among the claims in Trump’s 25-point list is that his administration has achieved what he called the “most secure border in history,” claiming that no illegal aliens had been admitted into the United States over the preceding 16 months.

Trump also pointed to the signing of the Laken Riley Act, legislation targeting certain non-U.S. nationals accused of specified crimes. The White House has listed the law among its major border-enforcement measures.
On crime, Trump claimed his administration had overseen the largest drop in the U.S. murder rate ever recorded, bringing the rate to its lowest level in 125 years.
The president also highlighted tax legislation passed during his administration, describing it as the largest tax cut in American history. He specifically cited provisions involving federal taxation of tips, overtime earnings and Social Security benefits.

Trump further claimed that his administration had secured $19.2 trillion in new investment commitments for the United States. The White House has separately cited more than $11 trillion in investment commitments in a September 9 report, including major commitments from the United Arab Emirates, Apple and Amazon.
Tariffs and American manufacturing
Trade policy also featured prominently on Trump’s list.
The president said his administration had imposed historic tariffs designed to encourage manufacturing in the United States, including tariffs on foreign copper, aluminium and steel, as well as automobiles.
He claimed that American exports had reached their highest level in the country’s history and said the United States was on course to export $2.5 trillion in goods during the year.
Trump also pointed to the performance of the stock market, claiming that it had recorded 80 all-time highs since the 2024 presidential election.

The administration has separately promoted what it describes as a manufacturing revival, citing increased production and private-sector job creation.
Defence and foreign policy
Foreign policy and military operations accounted for several of Trump’s claimed achievements.
Trump cited the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro during what the administration calls Operation Absolute Resolve. The White House has described the operation as a major U.S. national-security action.
He also claimed that U.S. military operations had destroyed Iran’s nuclear-enrichment capability.
The White House has said that Operation Midnight Hammer targeted Iran’s nuclear programme and that Operation Epic Fury subsequently targeted Iranian military and security infrastructure.
Trump further claimed that his administration had helped settle eight major wars and conflicts, including the conflict in Gaza, and said all living hostages held by Hamas had been returned to their families.
The White House has made similar claims, listing eight conflicts that it says the administration helped end, including the wars in Gaza and between Israel and Iran.
Energy and electric vehicles
On energy, Trump said his administration had terminated what he called the “Green New Scam,” declared a national energy emergency and expanded domestic oil and gas production under his “Drill, Baby, Drill” agenda.
He also said his administration had ended the federal electric-vehicle mandate and other regulations affecting the American automobile industry.
The White House has reported record U.S. oil and gas production and record crude and petroleum-product exports, while also highlighting expanded access to federal lands for energy production.
Social and education policies
Trump’s list also highlighted several controversial domestic policy changes.
He said his administration had abolished what he described as discriminatory Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies across the federal government and private sector.
He also claimed credit for policies restricting transgender participation in women’s sports and for efforts to prohibit what his administration describes as transgender ideology and critical race theory in schools.
Another item on the list was the launch of Trump Accounts, tax-advantaged investment accounts for eligible American children. The White House says eligible children can receive a $1,000 government contribution to the accounts.
Immigration and public order
Trump also cited the suspension of refugee admissions, including refugees from Somalia and other countries, as one of his administration’s achievements.
He said his administration had deployed the National Guard to Washington, D.C., Memphis and New Orleans to assist with restoring law and order.
Finally, Trump listed the designation of English as the official language of the United States among his administration’s accomplishments.

The White House has also published a broader review of the administration’s record, covering immigration, the economy, defence, energy, drug pricing, government efficiency and other areas.
While the 25-point list represents Trump’s assessment of his administration’s performance, several of the claims involve statistical measurements, investment commitments and interpretations of government policy that can be evaluated separately against independent data and official records.
The list nevertheless provides a broad picture of the issues Trump and his administration are placing at the centre of their political message as the 2026 midterm elections approach.
