Anthony Joshua has the power to knock out Tyson Fury if the long-awaited heavyweight showdown between the two British stars finally takes place, according to Fury’s uncle and former trainer, Peter Fury.
Speaking on the Fight Your Corner podcast in partnership with Midnite, Peter Fury said he believes the fight could ultimately go one of two ways — Fury could use his boxing ability to outpoint Joshua, or Joshua could land the decisive punch and stop Fury.
“I have not really thought about it, to be honest. He (Fury) is either going to outbox (him) and he will get to Joshua or Joshua is going to find the target and he will clean him out. So, it is one or the other, is it not? So, we will see which one,” he said.
Peter Fury believes the tactics adopted by both fighters could play a major role in determining the outcome.
“I think it all comes down to what game plans they are going to do,” he added.
