Everton secured a commanding 3-0 Premier League victory over Chelsea, leaving visiting manager Liam Rosenior frustrated by what he described as “cheap goals” conceded.
Beto was the star for Everton, scoring twice—first in the 33rd minute with a precise finish from a James Garner assist, and again just past the hour mark through the legs of Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. Iliman Ndiaye sealed the win in the 76th minute with a stunning curling strike into the top corner.
The win boosts Everton to seventh place with 46 points from 31 games, keeping their European ambitions alive, while Chelsea remain sixth on 48 points and have now suffered four consecutive defeats in all competitions.
Rosenior admitted his side struggled defensively, saying, “It seems to be happening too often that we give cheap goals away… Everton fully deserved the victory.”

Everton’s victory marks their biggest over Chelsea since 1987 and the first time they’ve recorded back-to-back wins at their new stadium on the River Mersey.
